Jeezy has reportedly missed out on his own earnings due to his internal team.
In the past, Jeezy admitted to having trust issues with those around him. However, navigating the music industry and forming partnerships required the rapper to lower his guard and trust others to uphold their end of the deal.
Jeezy stood 10 toes down on those statements. It has been revealed he is suing longtime manager Solomon Fornie and business partner Eddie Bridgeman of profiting off his fame and not providing financial transparency, according to TMZ.
Jeezy had been working with Fornie for a decade before they formed The Agency 99 LLC. It was created to manage Jeezy’s music earnings and is responsible for his creative marketing, talent management, brand development, and efforts in philanthropy, according to information on its Instagram page.
Bridgeman came into the fold through his company, The SaiSai Group, which was tasked with managing the agency’s finances. However, Jeezy learned that Bridgeman was not a certified public accountant (CPA).
By January 2024, Jeezy was no longer interested in maintaining his business relationships with Fornie or Bridgeman, per TMZ. However, he claims in court documents that the two refused to share the books and records. Now, he is hoping a judge will force their hand as the documents are essential by law for him to reinstate or wind down Agency 99 in Atlanta, GA, where he resides.
