Tiffany Haddish Launches She Ready Internship Program For Foster Youth

Tiffany Haddish’s “She Ready” slogan takes on a new meaning for her latest venture. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress and comedian has announced that she’s partnered with career accelerator Ready to Succeed to launch an internship program for foster youth in the new year. The goal for the program is to place these foster youth in positions at Haddish’s production company, She Ready Prods, and offer tangible job opportunities in media, arts, and entertainment. Haddish has previously been vocal about her upbringing growing up in the foster care system. In the wake of George Floyd’s death, his sister Bridgett Floyd has decided to carry on his legacy through a newly-launched internship program for young Black men at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Beats By Dr. Dre 'Black Future' Initiative Offers Creative Program to HBCU Students

HBCU students have an opportunity to help shape the future with Beats By Dr. Dre. The audio electronics platform announced a new creative program that offers Black creatives a chance to “create films, write articles and help design product” in the areas of music, sports and culture, the press release says. If selected, recent graduates and current students at HBCUs will enter a three-month, paid program where they will be mentored by industry leaders.
