Earlier this week, the actress had to make it clear that she is that girl. After a tweet comparing her career in Hollywood to Zendaya’s went viral, the 28-year-old hit send on a tweet of her own in response, as previously reported by Shadow and Act.

“A great example of colorism is to believe I can be compared to anyone. I’m the youngest talk show host ever. The first Black woman to star in her own show on Nickelodeon, & the youngest & first Black Cinderella on broadway. I’m an incomparable talent,” Palmer tweeted.

Now, the star has added yet another hosting gig to her lengthy resume!

Keke Palmer Secures A Meta Check

Palmer has become the host of Meta’s “Are We There Yet?”, a series on the social media giant’s Facebook and Instagram pages, according to Adweek. The new show “will help shine a light on developments in the metaverse.”

“Kekeverse anyone???? All my burning questions about the metaverse will be answered soon! Get ready for “Are We There Yet” with @meta where I meet the coolest creators, experts, and educators in the metaverse,” Palmer shared on social media.

What Viewers Can Expect

Per the outlet, the series’ first installment debuted on July 26, which features Meta vice president of the metaverse Vishal Shah. The two discussed Horizon Worlds including the one for Jordan Peele’s “Nope” — which she stars in — and the ways artists are creating immersive worlds. “Are We There Yet?” has been described as a mashup between “Bill Nye the Science Guy” and “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”

Previous Link Up With The Social Media Giant

Two weeks prior to announcing the series, Palmer shared her previous experience of  partnering with Meta including exploring virtual reality with TikToker Khaby Lame, who has previously been tapped by Mark Zuckerberg.

“Keke ‘Keep a Job’ Palmer is always in full effect, even in the metaverse, ok! Thanks to Meta for giving your girl the down low on how to reskill with immersive learning. Time to get to work,” she wrote in an Instagram caption.
