Rapper Wiz Khalifa is taking an innovative approach to the food industry with his latest business venture. This week, the multi-platinum selling, Grammy and Golden Globe-nominated recording artist announced a new partnership with Nextbite — a Denver-based pioneer in the virtual restaurant space and food on-demand revolution — to launch HotBox by Wiz , a delivery-only restaurant chain coming to cities nationwide this fall. Khalifa’s new venture follows in the footsteps of other fellow musicians who have explored the delivery-only restaurant model, including producer Steve Aoki’s Aoki Pizza , rapper Tyga’s Tyga Bites , and Post Malone’s partnership with Howlin’ Ray — which nearly broke the Postmates app — according to Eater Los Angeles .
